My son advised me this morning that there was a bomb scare Friday night. While driving a friend home he observed several squad cars blocking off sections of Dean Street and surrounds as a shoe box full of gun powder had been found in a vehicle stopped by local Coquille PD.
Obviously there is more to this story but at first blush it sounds like the local police rallied and called in the robot to disarm the vehicle.
