Urban renewal should be self-sustaining. There is no reason to freeze taxable assessed values of land, that does not help renewal along. The incentive to rebuild and renew comes from untaxing NEW buildings; the land is already there, and it isn’t going anywhere

With the imminent closing Albertson’s releasing 46 workers to the unemployment lines the county has a slight net gain in jobs.
