Ever since I published a copy of an email exchange between ORCCA executive director, Mike Lehman and its HR director, Carol Douglas, reports have been filtering back to me that they are each accusing MGx of fabricating the emails or knowingly publishing faked emails. 
First, this is simply false, all the documents published here are carefully vetted for authenticity. Second, if they really believed the emails were fakes why not contact me directly? To date neither party has denied the validity of the emails or asked me to take anything down for inaccuracy, instead they are casting aspersions behind the scenes on MGx reporting about ORCCA.
Further, Lehman is allegedly advising staff that he has tracked all IP addresses relating to activity on ORCCA posts on the blog and traced them back to just two people, myself and a former staff member. Unless Lehman is tied in with the NSA he would not be able to access any activity without a warrant so this claim is also false and more importantly, inaccurate. If Lehman wonders where the “leaks” are coming from he need only look in the mirror and blame his own verbosity and the fact his staff don’t regard him as an honest person.
Earlier, I sent an email to board chairman Christina Alexander and both Lehman and Douglas advising them I am aware of the false accusations. Assuming the board or anyone at the agency is professional enough to respond, I will post it here.
Another audit is currently underway at ORCCA. Aiken & Sanders, Inc, PS audit the agency each year but this year they have taken the unusual step of returning for a second look and have been overheard stating they are “conducting fraud interviews.” Additionally, the budgets approved by the board in June appear to have been inaccurate or temporary because new budgets are emerging which effectively means the agency is operating without a working budget. More deficits are showing up in administrative and other indirect operating costs.
UPDATE Lehman’s response at 11:52AM today – “Mary – I will say with absolute clarity and certainty that I have never suggested or implied that there was anything fake about the email in question. I have asked Ms. Douglas and she says the same. Without knowing who, when and where this occurred I can offer no more specific denial than this.”
It’s a public entity, with a public board, correct? Have the board and their associations which qualify them for their position been named on this site? Are the board meetings of this public entity open to the public?

THIS is why Coos County, unlike EVERY county up and down the coast of Oregon is moving forward, their cities and waterfronts are inviting and pleasant.Then you hit Coos Bay. Only restaurant/bar to sit and watch the waterfront? You got it kiddies, Benetti’s. Why is that? Because with the cover of The World “news”paper, they’ve gotten away with it. That’s why.
Why did they hire Lehman? Because he told them there would be no more bad publicity from the world. He had an in with Clark and could guarantee it. That’s all this board cares about, what’s going to stick on them.
Rumor has it, Lehman told the board that the emails were made up by a former employee. And they bought it! All anyone has to do is check the server, the backups….can’t erase those Mike! Lucky for you the board doesn’t want to know the truth.
And there’s more rumors floating around. Like you passed your audit. Does it have any thing to do with those fake invoices that your finance director was talking about, or pulling money from weatherization to cover up.
We hear all the rumors. We hear you’re looking for your mole. Too bad for you Carol can’t keep her mouth shut. There isn’t anyone she doesn’t talk to. You and Douglas are skating on thin ice.
Look at the $50,000,000.00 un-needed, under-used second airline terminal,running electricity day and night, and just like the Rusted Railroad To Nowhere, we now have a Rusted Airport To Nowhere, which locals cannot afford to use, and the old, perfectly good first one sitting out on the airport grounds. Don’t forget the million dollar tower they can’t afford to man. THEN? I’d like every board member who voted for Mike Lehman to come on here, which is the ONLY news distributor I can find anyplace near Coos County, and explain to We The Taxpayers, exactly WHY they voted for Mike Lehman to head Orcca. Come on Board, you got some splainin to do, publicly. Seeing what Benetti, Barton, Lehman, the rest have done to this county, why haven’t they been run out of town on those Damned Rusted Rails To Nowhere before now? My opinions only of course.
Your source within ORCCA has done a superb job of exposing the truth. Hopefully the person is not stupid and does not sit at the organization computer when contacting you. Lehman is full of more shit than the Christmas goose. Frankly, at the first confirmation of slander or libel I would sue in small claims court – avoid the cost of a lawyer and get the same judgment. Credibility of MGX is paramount!
