As some of you have informed me, accessing MGx these days sometimes returns a message that resource limits have been exhausted and to try again later. This is actually great news for this blogger because MGx is gaining more and more local readers at a rapid rate and the proportion of local to national and global readers is now almost one to one. While it is exciting to have so many regular readers visiting MGx it comes at the cost of using a lot of bandwidth and with as few as four or five hundred readers online at the same time the site slows down significantly and inevitably initiates the “resource limits” and “try again later” warning. The solution is to upgrade to the next tier of dedicated hosting at a cost of up to $1,300 per year or to just continue to limp along as is for now.

Reader support is necessary to make an upgrade of this size. If you enjoy reading MGx and appreciate the information provided here by the growing list of notable contributors then please consider making a small, medium or large donation today to help expand our reach and improve our speed and functionality while providing a forum for independent critical thinkers discussing the Oregon Southern Coast.

In the meantime MGx will continue to serve up as much local news and opinion as our current resource limits allow. MGx is NOT a non-profit organization (although it qualifies as a no profit enterprise;)) so your donation may not be tax deductible.

Thank you for your help and consideration,

Mary
