Nicholas McGuffin convicted of 1st degree manslaughter in the 2000 death of his girlfriend, Leah Freeman, will complete his mandated sentence August 22, 2020. If McGuffin had come forward from the beginning, instead of hiding his crime, he would be well on with his life by now and would probably have served a much shorter sentence. One has to wonder whether the person or persons who helped orchestrate the attempt to coverup the crime back then wish now they had urged him to tell the truth.
