In attendance at a meeting of the Citizens Restoring Liberty group was Commissioner Bob Main. The meeting was held in advance of a demonstration opposing mask and vaccine mandates held on the Coos Bay Boardwalk. The best intel available indicates this meeting was held at the Restoration Church in Bandon on August 27 and was officiated over by Rod Taylor infamous for his attendance at the January 6 insurrection in DC.

Rob Taylor, radio host of a local conservative talk/entertainment program refers to Coos County Health and Wellness Director, Dr Eric Gleason as Dr Death and threaten violence saying he deserves a “kick in the ass” and worse.
Gleason is a member of the North Bend School Board. Taylor claims that “we” have successfully elected three apparently like minded people to the school board including the board chairperson. Nevertheless, Dr Gleason is standing in the way of permanently halting any discussion of critical race theory in the school and so they need to “take on Dr Death”.
Taylor urges the crowd to help gather 200 to 300 like minded individuals to take on Gleason at the October 7 school board meeting in a show of intimidation. Mind you, one of Gleason’s bosses, Bob Main is in the audience the entire time and Taylor even introduces him to the crowd for having the courage to attend.
Refering to the boardwalk protests Taylor indicates that people shouldn’t worry because the “patriots” will be there, “some big guys” and no one should worry about security at the event.
He then goes on to claim that even without security they have nothing to worry about because the Coos Bay Police Chief, Chris Chapenar, “is one of us.” Taylor makes the same claim about the Bandon chief of police, Bob Webb is also on board with the group but that neither of them can attend a political meeting like Citizens Restoring Liberty.
Dr Gleason may need his own security especially since Bob Main and Sheriff Craig Zanni have chosen not to support the positions of the county health department. Commissioner Melissa Cribbins is Gleason’s commission liaison and I hope she can help him.

Being Assessed As Possible Threat
According to Coos County Commissioner Melissa Cribbins the incident has been turned over to legal counsel and the Coos County Sheriff as a possible threat.
Radio Host Rob whines I threw him under a bus
Rob Taylor took issue with me posting about a disturbing video I found online and thereby somehow throwing him under a bus. Really? What bus would that be?
Personally, the only person I may have thrown under a bus was Bob Main for his reckless and completely inappropriate behavior regarding a county employee. Surely they all knew they were being videoed given the Citizens Restoring Liberty banner is on the chiron.

This is a misleading and incendiary title for the article. Nowhere in the article does it say that Bob Main threatened violence. To have you that kind of lead in is a false statement. Not surprising, but still a false claim.
Your local representatives should attend as many meetings as possible and understand what’s going on. Nowhere to comment or any gestures in support or opposition. This is nothing more than information gathering.

The title only says he attended the meeting. If he was just information gathering, he should then have alerted the health director… regardless of your opinion, the county commission has brought the video to the attention of legal counsel and the sheriff as a “potential threat”.
Are you unaware that Citizens Restoring Liberty cites this motto every meeting at the beginning ? We also pray for all people to have liberty and choice, which are the primary issues of life for all. “Citizens Restoring Liberty is a PEACEFUL gathering of concerned citizens seeking to restore our liberty through LEGAL CONSTITUTIONAL means. We specifically REJECT any principals of racial supremacy or violence of any kind.” We pray for our enemies and do good to those who hate us because Our God enables us and commands us to love . He also says “Be strong and courageous.” So we are not doormats either.
Nonetheless your guest, Rob Taylor is using incendiary language like “Dr Death” and urging 200 to 300 people to attend a public meeting and “take him on”. We all saw what happened on January 6 in DC when Trump said, “We fight like hell. And if you don’t fight like hell, you’re not going to have a country anymore,” Then he followed that by saying we are going to walk down to the Capitol, etc… and an angry violent mob went crazy.
It doesn’t matter what you say at the beginning of your meetings, the company you keep speaks volumes about your character.
