That’s a good indicator that she intends to stay in politics. All politicians pad their resume’s to include as many local boards as they can make room for. With the support of SCDC and all of their subsidiaries, she is probably positioning herself to follow Caddy and Joanne into Salem or maybe she has bigger ambitions.
Mark McKelvy may see her slide past him in the seating order of potential replacements when the next local democrat (Arnie) retires. That’s the way that party works, if you show loyalty to those above you they might drag you along. She just needs one more term as a commissioner to solidify her position behind Caddy and ahead of McKelvy..
