Apparently, there is progress being made toward the selection of the jurors in the Leah Freeman murder trial against Nicholas McGuffin and we may expect opening arguments this afternoon. Even so, trial progress will be constrained to today and Thursday as I understand that Judge Barron does not hold court on Fridays.
The courtroom seating is limited to both media and the public but I do hope to catch the opening arguments and report as appropriate here.

The court room will be dark this Friday as the judge has a commitment. However, the trial is expected to go 9 – 5 five days each week through the 23rd.
