These images were taken by the Marines with cell phones and digital cameras during my son’s deployment to Ramadi. Many men died and many more were wounded and more, like my son, suffer from traumatic brain injury and post traumatic stress disorder. Some of these men died close by my son and one died in his arms and each one’s passing have left a deep mark.
The child at the end of the video has a special place in my heart and my son will never forget her. The video may take a while to load and I will try to encode it for streaming later if time allows.
If the player doesn’t work you can down load it here
Here is part of my son’s story and a little bit of how war impacts military families
Thank you, Julie and blessings to your father. Those of us who have experienced war only through the eyes and remembrances of our loved ones can never fully comprehend the horror we send our children into when we send them to war.
God Bless your son Mary. My father was a decorated Marine in Korea, two Purple Hearts and a Silver Star. It really didn’t hit me until his funeral. Bag Pipes and Veterans gun salutes. It is spine chilling. My hat is off and my head is down to honor those that have done so much to protect and provide for all of us and I honor your son.
Best regards, J
Yes Maam.Kevin is really blowing it now. Hope you have a good day off. Take care. RETIRED ROAD EMPLOYEE. lol
Thank goodness for my good Vietnam veteran friends who have helped me so much to understand and deal with my son and his problems. There is some healing through helping others and John is learning that as well but I will be forever indebted to those broken warriors of that early era and all they have done for me and mine.
Yes, I am well up to date on Kevin’s late night rantings… he must be having some sort of breakdown because he sure is paranoid.
I agree. I have several friends that made it threw Vietnam. I wanted to go with them when they went but I was classified 4f because of being born with one kidney they would not Induct me to the Marines. I am proud of them, as we still stay in contact. It was so hard on them when they returned they are still fighting our government for help.It really sickens me to see them go through post traumatic syndrome as it is a real disorder. Hope all is well with you and your son on this Memorial weekend.
PS. Larry Van Elsberg has some interesting news of the Lying Hawaiian. He may have e-mailed you already. This also went to the D.A. After he got a weird email from Keven. He is over the top and I hope done for.

Thanks, Gary, our armed services pay a heavy price. As patriotic Americans we owe it to them to ensure Congress provides for their care when they return and most especially, never wastes their courage, their blood and their heart on bad intelligence or for profit or greed.
Peace be upon you
I salute your son Mary for all he has done for our country and to protect our freedom. God bless him. Very touching video. I don’t think people realize what they have gone through to protect our country. God bless.
