Sheriff Andy Jackson and District Attorney Paul Fraser have requested the Attorney General conduct an investigation into charges of corruption leveled against the Sheriff by Commissioner Kevin Stufflebean.
In response, both the Sheriff and District Attorney Paul Frasier have sent letters to the Attorney General’s Office seeking an investigation.
In a press release, which included copies of the two letters, Frasier said that allegations of corruption are serious and must be promptly and thoroughly investigated.
In his letter to the Attorney General, Frasier says the allegations “have the potential to call into question any criminal case in which the Sheriff’s Office was or is involved.”
Stufflebean appears to be spinning out of control and self imploding. More later
Uh oh, we’re about to see Mr. Stufflebutt have to do some business out in the open now. Very good.
I think it’s probably too late, but if Stufflebutt had any balls at all, or more importantly, if he had any integrity he would have posted his accusations in pubic, and allowed the pubic and those he is accusing to respond.
He didn’t as usual. I hope this draws Blondie (their BOC attorney) into this fray as well. She is the one who advises them on what they can take behind those doors. And she does it regularly.
Stufflebutt may have just ended his own political career.
