Sheriff Andy Jackson and District Attorney Paul Fraser have requested the Attorney General conduct an investigation into charges of corruption leveled against the Sheriff by Commissioner Kevin Stufflebean.

In response, both the Sheriff and District Attorney Paul Frasier have sent letters to the Attorney General’s Office seeking an investigation.

In a press release, which included copies of the two letters, Frasier said that allegations of corruption are serious and must be promptly and thoroughly investigated.

In his letter to the Attorney General, Frasier says the allegations “have the potential to call into question any criminal case in which the Sheriff’s Office was or is involved.”

Stufflebean appears to be spinning out of control and self imploding. More later
