Barton Gellman, author of ‘Angler’ discusses Cheney attack on his former boss for not pardoning Scooter Libby. Libby is widely believed to have fallen on his sword to protect Cheney during the trial regarding the outing of covert agent Valerie Plame. Cheney is willing to bad mouth his former boss to save his friend but he isn’t willing to acknowledge that he is the guilty party to save his friend. He escaped service in Vietnam letting better men fall and he will let his ‘buddy’ take this hit too. What a complete lowlife.
