Its official, the recall paperwork of Commissioner Kevin Stufflebean has been certified by County Clerk Terri Turi. Citizens for a Fair and Open Government can legally collect the 3,773 valid signatures required to hold an election. The petition must be validated within 90 days wherein Stufflebean has 5 days to respond or resign. I don’t have the exact time frame in front of me but once everything is submitted and complete a special election will be held within 35 days of that date.
