2014 has been a very hectic year. Recovering from a nasty cyber attack this spring was exhausting, time consuming and very expensive but thanks to help from its readers MGx survived and has grown to almost 30,000 viewers a month. For this I am especially grateful as my time has been heavily split between commercial projects, leaving me with less time to devote to the social issues I care about so deeply. One helps afford the other, however and so I beg your forbearance if sometimes MGx seems to not be keeping up.

Great news! Hopefully that’s near 30,000 unique visitors and not 29,000 times visited by your friend Mark M. who seems to have diarrhea of the keyboard and a need to read his stuff. The World paper, with its staff of more editors than the NY Times, on the best of days, has only 7,003 circulation.
I should be clear that only 11-12% of those visitors are local
