As many of you may have noticed, MGx has been a bit slow lately. This has been caused by a combination of two things. 1) Sudden surges in traffic that exceed the memory load on the server and 2) deliberate efforts by as yet unknown individuals or groups to overload the server. In the first case, it is exciting to have so many new readers and if it is necessary MGx will purchase more bandwidth and CPU capacity to accommodate them. As for the second cause, well, today we were able to isolate two sources and lo and behold, the worst offender is right here in Coos County.
Now that we know what to look for we can block these attempts before they get out of hand. Thank you for your patience.
Wow, such low brow cowardice – I would sure like a public shaming of this individual who thinks cheating is the way to go rather than to just work for a better life for fellow Coos County residents. A few names come to mind and I am sad to say I am unsurprised at these antics. Does this person realize that crashing Mgx’s server only serves to strengthen the message that Mary’s work is important and that by trying to silence this work just proves that those opposed are so wrong on every front that their last resort is to cheat? Pathetic.
Thank you! The internet is under federal jurisdiction so who knows if or when federal investigators will be knocking on any local doors, but one can hope…
Hopefully, the site will be running smoother now as I am paying extra for monitoring while I am traveling this weekend.
And THEY call US Yahoos? Ignorant thugs is what they are. Thuggish behavior at least, and probably being paid to do so. This shows you the caliber of people we are dealing with, and their desperation at being exposed. Some of them, Whitty especially have been at it for forty years, and never had to take responsibility for their actions. Now they do, and they don’t like it. Is this what a paid “economic hitman” achieves when on the dole? Or the Port Mafia? Or the Union thugs who flip the bird at local Chamber Meetings? My, my , my, what a cast of characters. And STILL the World provides cover for them in the form of genuine “news” reporting.
My humble opinion only, of course, always. You know how lawyers are. I’m getting really tired of their Frat-Boy antics. But this cost a lot of time and money for a citizen to absorb, she doesn’t have a place at the Hog-Trough.
Shame on every one of you corwards, attacking a citizen journalist printing facts which the local “news”paper won ‘t.
As the schools crumble under their flowery promises which not one will deliver.
