Commissioner Bob Main will be speaking about the so called community enhancement plan today at 3PM on the Jim Bice Show. Listen here. According to Main, if the Jordan Cove LNG export terminal was built and both the Coos County Urban Renewal district and the Bay Area Enterprise Zone did not exist the county would receive $6 million annually. 
The community enhancement plan offers Jordan Cove a significant reduction in taxes in exchange for payment of community enhancement fees then diverts 25% or up to $110 million into a private non-profit corporation. Shady….
THAT should clear things up. Where else could one expect to find clear and concise analysis of the financial implications of the Jordan Cove project than from these two? Just don’t let Bob near the calculator.
