From the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality
The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has issued a penalty of $4,800 to Koos Environmental, an asbestos abatement contractor, for failing to properly wet friable asbestos material during a summer recess asbestos removal project at the Myrtle Point High School in Myrtle Point, Ore. DEQ also cited the company for failing to use a negative pressure enclosure during the removal of asbestos pipe insulation.
