Join me tonight for a town hall meeting about the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) with guest speaker Dan Johnson, founder of PANDA. Liberals and conservatives are working together to pass a resolution repealing provisions of the act that allow the indefinite detention of American citizens (and anyone else) without charge, evidence or due process. Several speakers, myself included, will explain why change begins at the local level and why our elected officials need to be our voice.

An importnat thing to remember is the County BOC may comment on the proposal, but the approval comes from State Parks. Hardly an item the County Commissioners are in a position to be “on the inside” on anything concerning this proposal.
Liberals and Conservatives against Democrats and Republicans. That says volumes about the two party system. Look at these Democrats representing this area and you will see them in lockstep with the most fervent corporate Republican searching for riches..
They represent the same wolfs. Yes, They will agree to take your land and put you in jail for resisting them. Our County Commissioners are already on the inside of that corrupt system that has chosen to ignore private rights in favor of Corporate profits, so its easy to see why they don’t want to address a remedy.
