Well, it is no surprise at all considering the port has laid all its eggs in Jordan Cove’s basket. On the agenda for tonight’s commission meeting is the adoption of a resolution in support of the Jordan Cove LNG project that looks amazingly identical to other resolutions laden with misleading “WHEREAS” statements that are displayed on the BS Oregon website. The meeting is schedule for 6PM at the North Bend Public Library in the large conference room.
If you are able to attend please inquire as to who funds BS Oregon and pays Ray Bucheger to represent the organization from Washington, DC.
They are able to support this because they don’t have to win an election, and that click doesn’t hang with non-believers. When you work for wal-mart you must give the wal-mart cheer. The port,BACC,SCDC and our elected reps are all doing the LNG cheer and they’re proud of it. The wal-mart employees do the cheer because they have to if they want a job. The mind set at the port shows total disregard for the populace of North Bend and Coos Bay, who will be forced to live with the dangers they bring, for less permanent jobs than wal-mart produces.If I don’t like wal-mart I can choose to not go there. LNG will force you to move away if you don’t like it, and you won’t get as much money to move with because this LNG plant will depress your current property’s value. Don’t bring it here and we won’t have to consider making such life altering decisions.
