The Bandon Port Commission will remain unchanged with Rick Goche and Reg Pullen prevailing. The Airport District Board had one of the closest races but Jon Barton beat out Julia Johnson, 2,796 to 2,593 and Joe Benetti ran unopposed.
Note that of almost 10,000 voting, unopposed Benetti only got 6K. Once again, the unbiased World paper was able to sway an election at SWOCC. Also a great day for Jody McCaffree who was not a candidate with the new Energy Chief saying wait a moment re exporting LNG.
