Coos County Human Resource Director Mike Lehman is one of the three top candidates of eighty applicants to fill the Oregon Coast Community Action CEO position vacated by Mary Schoen-Clark. Also under consideration is acting interim CEO, Patty Gouveia and another candidate out of the area.
Interviews were held today after a meet and greet with staff yesterday. A brief sampling of courthouse insiders suggests several are crossing their fingers hoping Lehman gets the job while ORCCA staff are less enthusiastic and are instead pulling for Gouveia.
A famous person once remarked – Some cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go. In this situation we know who will win and lose. May good winds send Mr. HR Man rapidly to ORCCA.
Lehman did not engender much enthusiasm amongst ORCCA staff at the meet and greet. If he is hired, we may see a mass exodus from the agency
Bring me up to speed. Why?
Like I posted after reading Clark Wallsorth’s FIRST hit -job piece on ORCCA, just sit back and “follow the money”. Right to their doors. Of course it was ALWAYS about SCDC/Chamber of Consorts’ plans to get their greedy fingers all over this public money. Looks like they’re getting what they paid for.
So much for a free press.
The World Newspaper–the best advertising rag on the Oregone Coast, our motto is: “You get the news you pay for”.
Nuff said.
My humble opinion only.
Reeks of Walrus Breath all around. Sause and Knutson as well, the real Dons of Coos County.
They have seats on every board in this county, and are moving.
Our prayers may yet be answered. The employees of ORCCA should learn today’s word of the day, bloviate, to get prepared for the emperors arrival.
