For all intents and purposes the reign of Fred Messerle and Cam Parry ended this morning after an IT work session that ended with another request for more details. There were no last minute hundred thousand dollar purchases or mass layoffs and because no further meetings have been noticed before the new commission is sworn in tomorrow we are free to relax at least for a day.
All in all, for all the furor and or excitement behind the appointments of both interim commissioners and the subsequent bitter and ridiculously expensive campaign… it all ended rather quietly this morning.

Perhaps when you do start asking the new commissioners questions you can ask why Cribbins, political head of the Coos Bay and North Bend water board has been silent about a company planning to remove 90,000 truck loads of earth (according to the World newspaper) from below a dam and lake with the cities water supply. Is that placing people in jeopardy?
