Parry’s temper has erupted several times in the past over what seem on the surface to be very simple questions. For example, I once asked why the commissioner was not enforcing an agreement with Waste Connections and Parry lodged into some diatribe about sledgehammers rather than just answer the question. Sometimes Parry’s anger erupts without someone asking a question like when Randy Sanne tried to point out some important issues with the county budget and this week Parry went ballistic when I asked if a lunch in Bandon between Parry, Fred Messerle and two city managers had anything to do with county business. Parry maintains the foursome did not talk shop so why react so aggressively to such a simple question?

Answer, because he epitomizes the “Peter Principle”! Managers who can’t, manage by fear and intimidation. His are empty threats. Seven more months during which his damage is hopefully minimal.
Listen to the flowering details of their “Accidental Meeting”, from Cam. Cam knows it’s ilegal, but when you’ve bought a county, as Messerlie/Bartons did, you can do whatever you damn well please. Case in point.
They all know it’s illegal, but they’ve kicked the publics’ ass so many times, they don’t bother to hide their unethical behavior.
Listen to us , we don’t speak in terms of “illegal”, we speak in terms of “unsightly”, perceptions, etc.
