ARRRG members Ronnie Herne and Jaye Bell were told by Fred Messerle the commission would not consider adding a county charter initiative until after the Coos County Clerk validates the filing. The clerk has until tomorrow to complete the validation process. Cam Parry, however, took the opportunity to comment on points in the charter that he believed infringed upon freedom of speech and referred to sections he said prohibited staff from reporting criminal violations although he didn’t specify the sections. Bell complained that he was prejudicing the public by not reading the charter in full and taking sections out of context.
The committee will likely bring the matter before the commission at the next regular meeting.
To establish the charter, a majority of registered voters must approve it. Herne is confident her group can collect the 1,600 signatures needed to put the charter on the November ballot.
Should that happen, Parry says, locals should read the fine print carefully.
‘If Ahmadinejad was to design democracy for his country, this would be the blueprint,” Parry said, referring to Iran President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
So Cam Parry today is comparing those behind this carter to Ahmadinejad? Come on Cam, grow up and act like an adult. What the F is wrong with you? This is just rubbish.
I doubt I will vote on this, but why the hell iareCam, Barton and Little Al so afraid to let us vote? They are terrified of this. I need to study and find out why.
Cam? We didn’t vote for your sorry arse, so we’ll just wait until you are finally gone.

Parry is almost correct here.
