The Coos County Watchdog has been running a poll for commissioner positions one two and three for several weeks. There is no way of knowing until after the election just how representative the results are until after the election but in position one Randy Sanne is currently leading with almost 50% of 355 votes cast, Bob Main is second with 40% and Fred Messerle is a distant third with just 10%. Let’s hope this trend holds out until next Tuesday.
Main is running ads attacking Fred. Not sure if he mentioned that he appointed Fred.
Is a survey indicative of a trend if: it’s respondents are biased, the response is approximately one or two percent of voters, and the same 10 people have voted 30 times?
The voters are primarily Republican or Tea Party or Americans for whatever. But, since the county is split almost 50 / 50 red and blue, the voting is probably indicative of what may occur. All I care is that a competent, qualified individual is elected and that Messy Messerle is a distant third. It would be nice to see Barton spend the whole $15K to lose.
