The same individuals who help organize the weekly chamber luncheons, distribute gifts and collect for the weekly cash drawings also spent their time breaking open campaign flyers, cards and buttons for Fred Messerle and displaying them on the welcome table. If the same services were offered to the other candidates they either didn’t get the memo or didn’t take advantage of it because Messerle was the only name being promoted at this “impartial candidate forum”.
Will recap in more detail when the video is available but according to sources Messerle spoke several errors of fact regarding budget numbers which we will highlight here.
I would really appreciate the SCDC Cof C supporters to answer these simple questions. Clark was a good boy and removed the thread, even though it had the most comments on his “most commented” site. It was removed Saturday, so Jon wouldn’t have to see it, and wouldn’t be forced to answer. Bad idea.
Knowing the boys read your site M, I’m going to post it in the hope someone will answer.
Okay wise one, true or false?
1.ORC built a state of the art facility in Coos Bay?
2.ORC built a state of the art facility that SEPARATES GOLD AND PRECIOUS METALS from sand?
3. NO ONE is monitoring ORC facility for removal of gold or other precious metals?
PS. The Chamber could have spent that 50 mill actually supporting each state’s small business community. Oregon could have used a million from the Chamber to promote business couldn’t they? Instead of a Dem. race in Ohio?
I guess that makes me a “cave” person, again.
More from those “job creators” The Chamber of Consorts, I’ll tell you what, if I was a small business owner in Coos County paying dues to the Chamber, I think I’d prefer to pay my rent instead of support this rubbish, THIS is what the C of C really is, and has been for a very long time.
Who knew?
“U.S. Chamber of Commerce has committed to spend more than $50 million this year on a range of issues. So far it has targeted several lawmakers, including Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH), who faced $2.5 million of ads against him for wanting to end oil subsidies. In February, it spent $200,000 ads promoting Rep. Rick Berg (R-ND) for his pro-oil stance.”
Every candidate was offered an opportunity to have materials displayed. A different question – who in the chamber management wrote to their members asking for a vote for Messerle? I was told Slater but I’m not sure.
The whole BOC, COC, SCDC thing is quite disgustingly incestual.
After spending time with Mr. Messerle, not only did I feel the need to shower, I also came away with great distrust. He’s just a bully redneck milking the taxpayers of Coos County for all he can get.
I do not trust that man Messerle one bit. While working on the road crew, he was always rude to us , showed no respect for what we did. He has not got my Vote, and I will spread the word. I think the whole BOC pretty much suck, and is sending us down the Road. Just venting here. And them wanting to shut down Beaver Hill Disposal is another way for them to Privatize. More money out of the Tax payer is what I see. Shame on them.
