Item 2G on Tuesday’s commissioners meeting “Presentation of Structure Committee Report”.
Sheriff Zanni had questioned whether the committee had properly presented its findings during a January meeting and apparently they have decided to give it another try. The meeting is being held in the Owen Building which indicates a big crowd is anticipated. It will be interesting to see how or if the co-chairs Jon Barton and Al Pettit handle the minority opinion after their false declaration the committee had produced the majority report with a consensus of the members.
It will be interesting to note if all of the positions taken earlier, the problems identified earlier, and the solutions recommended by chairpeoples Charlie Pettit and his pal Jon of Coos Bay or Hauser (depending on the content of his letter to the editor), are identical during the do over presentation. Thank God that Charlie invented the VCR so we can compare. It will also be interesting to see if Robert “Bob” Main has the courage to challenge each of the specifics addressed by the sheriff that differ from the positions of the Pettit Jon duo. Also will be interesting to see if friend of the duo Messerle tries to stop citizens questions and debate.
