As promised here is the cathartic and revelatory commission smack down delivered by retiree Sharon Shinnick, formerly of the Coos County Road Department. Pay attention to how Main tries to laugh off Shinnick’s complaints and make no mistake, the commissioner is using his position on the bench to campaign for reelection.

Let’s all remember, these Koch Suckers worked hard to get into government, so they can destroy it. I personally, like police protection, and firemen, and schools and business being regulated as much as possible. I want a safe community, and do not mind paying for it.

This is one very committed ex-employee. And one of the bravest episodes I have EVER seen in local government. What an incredible amount of control and what a damned good piece of writing. This woman did not take one word lightly. She is an amazing woman and I’m proud as hell to see her courage under extremely hostile surroundings. I’m only a few minutes into it, but I hope she sees this, I am so impressed by this womans’ courage. I can’t wait to finish it, I can hear His Hi-Knee (phonics children) Main snorting already. I’m sure he’ll laugh and mock her as well, the first sign of a scoundrel. Or a lost campaign.

Her best points were that the inexperienced commissioners ignored the most valuable and knowledgeable resource, the department heads. We all have to wonder why they REALLY applied for the job…
Sounds like a disgruntled County Management employee. It seems that her observations are not credible. I did enjoy the “God” thing with Main and the lack of understanding by the newbies Cam and Fred because they needed to “be educated” at the County’s expense instead of the information they could readily glean from Commissioner School or even on line. Why did they apply for these positions when they are so woefully ignorant.? Of course Main has his own problems with credibility. Flips one way then the other. What, not enough hunting time this year Mr Main?
