Witnesses report that law enforcement from many different agencies are staging in Lakeside at the county park to extract activists from the Elliott State Forest. Updates and pictures soon

More than forty vehicles from Oregon State Police and the Oregon Department of Forestry as well as local law enforcement met this morning, many in flak jackets, prior to heading up to the site of the Elkhorn Ranch Timber Sale in the Elliot State forest where approximately a dozen activists have setup a blockade and a tree-sit.

The activists have been taken into custody and are being held in the Coos County jail.
