KTLA, the earliest of the early TV stations in the area, has always been the looney TV station in LaLaland. This was the station of early days rasslin with Gorgeous George and others, Beanie and Cecil the sea sick sea serpent, Spade Cooley and his band with singer Lotta Chatter, and newsman Hal Fishman who never seemed to retire. Certainly helps explain anatomy.
