Commissioners Main and Parry selected the committee to help evaluate applicants to fill the position vacated by the late Nikki Whitty. Each chose for members of the community and then mutually agreed on a ninth ‘tie breaker’ for the nine member panel. This is a nice diverse group of people with both the workforce and women being well represented this time.
Parry chose Bob Sasanoff, Karl Bender, Penny Allen and Melody Gillard-Juarez
Main chose Julie Jones, Bob Westerman, Pat Reday and Pam Hitner. Sargeant Dave Hermann of the Coos County Sheriff’s Office is the tie breaker.
