The oil and gas industry best management practices allow for regular toxic, polluting spills because ‘it could be much worse’, considering the volume of drilling done in this country. In 2010, according to this CBS report, there were 6,500 spills related to oil and gas drilling.
One of the victims, a family whose retirement property was made uninhabitable after a fracking fluid spill, featured in the video also participated in the “Fracking Hell” documentary.
