Yes. I feel very afraid for my family becaused of man like pickering. And his has access to the highschool and computers where kids need to be safe.

You are right, themguys! Jared Lee Loughner was ignored even though his parents tried to get him help. Wasn’t it Reagan who eliminated funding for mental health programs?
The way the laws are now written, you can’t get help until after the mentally ill commit a crime.
Unfortunately, it is true of this other person as well. If he claims to carry a weapon with at all times, then I would keep an eye on him at public meetings and sit close to the door
Aghast, I think Jared Laughner was ignored as well? I KNOW you are right on one level, but it always nags me on the other. Perhaps if someone had REALLY paid attention to the things he was doing AND saying, ESPECIALLY AFTER arming himself, these victims would be alive today. I’m thinking that is also valid to question.All I know is we have to push back against accepting this rampant gun culture which is cultivated in this nation of ours. An elderly woman is recovering form gunshots she took when a man with a concealed permit, and loaded pistol removed his coat, dropping the gun, it fires and hits a 70 year old woman sitting nearby. Why is a man so frightened to spend an evening out without carrying a loaded gun? I think we’ve allowed it for way too long, but I believe we need to seriously curtail our love affair with loaded weapons in public.
I’ve vowed to ignore this poster, but that does not take away any danger some of us feel about him being armed in public places we frequent.

So far this week Steve Pickering,proud to call himself ‘armed and dangerous’ with his incessant posting of himself with guns hanging from every limb that will still hold “up” a weapon posting on The World Forum this week alone, the following threats to an old woman HE disagrees with:
I’m going to report you to HOmeland Security.
I’m going to report you to the Police Departments.
I’m going to report you to the Sheriff, and your friend too.
Now, any among us not take these rantings seriously, coming from a self-professed almost always armed with a concealed weapon poster?
I take them as threats as do others. He continues to post them, this week bragging to all of us “you haven’t SEEN my BIG guns”, after posting about 20 more of them he posseses.
I don’t like to hear anyone talk and post gun-talk like this man does, it makes others nervous as well, then have him threaten others while he is at it.
It seems he’s obsessing on this blog as we speak. He’s takin us to the Sheriff Man now.

I think anyone reading The Pricks’ posts on the Forum, should think twice about this,in my opinion,unstable person attending BOC and other county and city meeetings while, in his words, packing a loaded pistol. He says those who “need” to know already know, and the rest of us need to shut up, cuz he’s “legal”. It’s legal to be a big fat,mean-spirited,slanderous and lying SOB, but some of us try not to be.

Personally, I think he is just a deeply insecure man – which is why he has a permit to carry a concealed ‘pecker extender’ with him at all times.

The TEC 9 was not provided by Maddow – I just grabbed a pic of an assault weapon with extended clip – looked for a glock but didn’t find one with the extended magazine. So blame me.
The advertising has nothing to do with Maddow either. The ad feed uses contextual placement for determining which ads to place.
Maddow has consistently scored in the upper nineties for factual accuracy compared to other cable counterparts like people at Fox. When she does make a mistake, she admits.
There is probably good reason why a majority of cable subscribers get their news from sources other than Rachel Maddow. It’s high capacity clips – not weapons – Rachel. The TEC 9 in the photo can still be purchased from private owners – but INTRATEC of Miami stopped manaufacturing the weapon years ago. It was nice to see in movies but it is a crappy weapon that frequently jams. It is also interesting to note that the ad along side of the Rachel article was for “Front Sight” an individual who will teach you the ten importatnt steps to kill the bad guy with your high capacity clip that he recommends for your 45 ACP. And that’s a very high capacity M16 in his ad. The next ad is for the National Association for Gun Rights??
