Despite withdrawing the request from the BPA Interconnection Request Queue for a Hauser Tap, Bob Braddock is quoted in The World saying plans to build a 50MW gas fueled power plant may be ongoing.

Braddock is also quoted saying the local power plant would improve redundancy throughout the area…. not likely, not if it is tapping in to a main BPA transmission line.

The BPA request was withdrawn by letter, April 12, 2010, from the customer following review of the ISIS (Interconnection System Impact Study) report.
