Thought they had a fixed number of days to do the verification. Today was the last day. When I spoke with Turi Wednesday she said they would be done late Friday with the recall signatures.
Dont belive it! I met with Ms. Turi in her office at great length Thursday morning. They have not started to verify the signatures yet and wont until after the election next week. Because people, including habitual office seeker Steve Pickering have suggested irregularities in signature collection, the verification process will be slow. However, Ms. Turi is targeting 19 November for ballot mailing.
