Tonight at the Egyptian Theater at 7PM. Be early to be sure and get a seat and probably bring a flak jacket and safety goggles as it might get dicey. Kidding aside, it will be an entertaining night for sure.

UPDATE: Well, it was great fun and the well policed. Robinson fans lined the entrance with signs but it seems the audience was pretty evenly divided between the candidates and Green Party candidate, Mike Beilstein earned a lot of applause this evening. Beilstein is primarily running to bring attention to the high cost of war in the loss of blood, treasure and American jobs.

In summary, Robinson says the real campaign issue is Constitution vs socialism even though he supports heavily subsidized industries like nuclear, coal and other fossil fuel energy. He believes the free market will solve everything even though government subsidized industry is not ‘free market’ and certainly not fair market. Robinson only mentioned he was a scientist three or four times tonight and didn’t punctuate it the way he did during the Maddow interview.

DeFazio argued his independence from traditional party line thinking, brought up the $13M he just brought in for the new railroad and his defense of the fisheries and efforts to implement sustainable forest practices. He argued that the Wall Street bailout was socialism on a rampant scale and Wall Street greed and avarice caused our current economic downfall, not socialism.
