This is pretty interesting language in light of the local handling of collective bargaining issues by our county commissioners, Nikki Whitty, Kevin Stufflebean and former commissioner, John Griffith. Obama calls for a reversal of ‘many of the policies towards organized labor…’ Obama claims to view the labor movement as part of the solution and not the problem and issues new executive orders relating to collective bargaining.
Vice President Joe Biden will head the new task force on working families and declares a desire for transparency. It seems our local government is going backwards rather than forwards on all accounts.

It is kind of astonishing after listening to the budget session held December 16 the flip flops of the 2008 Board of Commissioners. For example, Whitty talks about layoffs in the planning department and what a waste after the county has spent so much money over the years training them to lose them. Even Stufflebean worries that land use issues will not be adequately addressed and mentions Oregon Resource Corp… yet they seemed to have no qualms about throwing away years of human resource investment in the road department.

Yeah, and now they can’t blame it all on those damn enviros and lefties, right? The educated citizens are finally seeing these local Commissioners and their G-Man enabler for what they are. We have one professional and two Goobers, and Goobers ALWAYS hang together.
A Garbage man now has access to ALL county records, INCLUDING the Sheriff’s Dept. What the hell is going on here? AND he has absolutely no professional credentials, just like Wittless and Stufflebutt !
