America, once the leading lender is now the largest borrower. America now imports raw resources instead of exporting them. Throwing jobs to corporations intent upon maximizing profits by utilizing cheap overseas labor has destroyed our economy.

Like you, I tend to be unsympathetic to large, poorly managed corporations and am not particularly in favor of this bailout and was completely opposed to the earlier bailouts. Unfortunately, it is the workers who are going to suffer here. Perhaps it will be enough to unite them all into pushing for green jobs to replace these lost jobs, perhaps not but the country is going to feel the effects either way.

Let’s hand over billions of bailout dollars to the American auto industry so they can make more poorly rated products and gigantic road trophies!
Let’s lavish more high wages, health care, unemployment insurance, worker buy outs, and “job banks” on the auto workers!
Let’s give the auto executives more golden parachutes and outrageous salaries!
Let’s inflate the auto industry with more dollars and let public transportation just limp along as it has done for the past several decades!

Lets get real and discover the fact that US made autos have in many ways surpassed thr imports . Lets realize as well that our government has allowed currency manipulation that gave some imports an advantage that amountedto a federal subsidy .
In fact lets get back to our conservative principles and quit resorting to divisive bashing of Americans and American products . The favorite political football of some “conservative” pundits actually has the highest owner satisfaction ratings of any car ever recorded …so much for Cavuto and Limbaugh on the Volt !
In any event , Ronald Reagan understood the importance of winning the auto worker’s vote . Rather than mindlessly bashing the union members , Reagen acknowledged the important part they play .
Romney will need every vote he can get to unseat the current “president”.
Unless the worker bashing is reversed he will fall far short . We can then thank the envy/hate based bashing of American workers for putting Omama in office for his second term . Ralph Nader is laughing up his sleeve at all the Neo-Cons who are picking up where he left off in his crusade to destroy American industry . Get smarter , NEO-CONS !
