In a loving tribute, many of Leah Freeman’s high school friends found voice today at Leah’s forum. Cory Courtright, Leah’s mom is one strong woman and there is no doubt her daughter knows how hard she is fighting to bring her killer to justice. For today, though, it was so tender to hear these fond remembrances and celebration of a beautiful young woman named Leah Freeman.

You know if you are reading this somewhere out there and you have any info on this case little or small no matter how revelant you might think it is please,please,please just contact the authorities. Just turn it in. Do the right thing, just look at all the people that have been affected by the murder of a bright and beautiful young woman.
To the killer(s) and their acompliss responsible for the murder of Leah Freeman:
Life is hard in many ways, living with the knowledge that you wrecked so many lives may not matter to you right now, but it will catch up with you in your life, you will be haunted by those memories of the night that you killed Leah.
We only get one chance to live this life and what we do in this life determines how we spend an eternity of an afterlife. Look at your children, look into their eyes how will you continue to live your life and lie to them every single day? When you take them to school, or to sports, or to the beach will you think about the mother that you deprived of all these things? Will you think of the sister that you deprived of a lifelong friend? Will you think about the Grandparents that you essentially sentenanced them to the grave before their time by murdering their granddaughter? Will you think about the friends and the rest of her family. When you have a BBQ or when you watch a movie will you think about the person who can’t do this anymore because of you? I hope that the guilt really sets in because you deserve it, you deserve to live your life always looking behind you watchin over your shoulder. Wondering, waiting for that moment when you will be discovered and knowing that you will have to look at your family and see the realization in their eyes that you have lied to them all these years and that you are truely a monstor.

Hi Cory,I too feel that if someone would just grow a heart and come forward,They would deserve a little BIT of leaniency depending on their roll in Leah’s murder.I hope and I do have a feeling they read this,just know you will pay one way or another, why not take the chance and just help for once in your small pathetic life.It would mean the sufering of others could be lightined NOT GONE but you could lightin that load!!
Oh it is NOT beyond solving! Not at all. In fact I understand things are coming around quite well these days! I think the bits and pieces should be given to the AG.
My guess is they are banking on the CPD to have made too many errors early on to obtain a conviction and that no one else will come forward with the little bits and pieces they know…
Where to take these bits and pieces is the hard part, I am thinking the AG and the state police
Ya know, before I always wanted each and every person involved in this horrible crime to all pay……..but I kinda feel like if someone would come forward first, then they should get a much lighter sentence now – depending on how big of a part they played in the actual murder. Don’t they realize that if they came forward first and told what they know, then the system would be much more lenient on them? And what is everyone so afraid of?? A punk who thinks he’s tough? Yeah right……no matter where you go there is always someone bigger and badder. So stupid. How big and bad do they think the big boys in prison are?
Aye, too many people were hurt for an answer not to emerge… despite a bungled investigation… too many people are tired of waiting, wondering AND covering up.
Thank you so much Mary for this post on Leah. It was truly a day for me to remember. Those girls are so awesome. They made my day so very pleasent. I just love each and every one of them. I know it seems silly but sometimes I get so afraid that Leah will be forgotten. Today I know she won’t. I hope and pray Leah knows that I will NEVER EVER stop fighting for the justice she is so overdue. I pray so hard for the day the sob pays for the ugly sickening thing he did to my baby. Maybe I should say “they”! Revenge is going to be so sweet that day. Hope tears are all he can squeeze out of his ugly face the day they take him in. Can’t wait to see him cry like a baby and squirm like the worm he is. I realized today that he hurt so many people – so many of her friends – her entire family. I know it is coming soon! I can almost feel it!
