Thank the stars the writers' strike is over

For someone who doesn’t watch TV, even have TV, I am greatly relieved that this strike is settled. Every morning I like to start my day by watching last night’s The Daily Show online.

When my oldest son, a Marine, left for war and crossed the border from Kuwait into Iraq in March 2003 I started writing my conscience.
