As usual, I get my best information from foreign news reporting like this short piece from the BBC In fact, almost all the news coverage of US anti-war protests is from foreign sources. This is why, America, we have to give up marching on weekends and go for the jugular.. Our kids are dying in Iraq so that we can march on a weekend and not inconvenience anyone or miss a day at work.
Honestly, America should be ashamed. Neverthelss I want to thank the thousands who participated in Saturday’s marches across the country (I did not) but I will meet you all on the steps of the capitol when Congress is back in session.
