Join me in DC, 11/8 – 11/12 to lobby with Military Families Speak Out (MFSO) against the ‘back door draft‘. Those of us with sons and daughters now being expected to return to Iraq after already serving multiple tours, must compel Congress to do the right thing.
MFSO, along with Iraq Veterans Against War and Veterans for Peace are working hard to give our troops a voice in Congress and have also launched the Appeal for Redress
As a patriotic American proud to serve the nation in uniform, I respectfully urge my political leaders in Congress to support the prompt withdrawal of all American military forces and bases from Iraq . Staying in Iraq will not work and is not worth the price. It is time for U.S. troops to come home.
Our kids are dying in Iraq needlessly, please add your voice to mine and join me in DC as we confront Donald Rumsfeld and Congress with signed petitions demanding the safe return of our exhausted troops.
