If you want a commissioner who is part of the “Good Ole Boy” politics, then you should vote for Messerle. If you want a long timer whose politics are knee jerk in nature to get re-elected, then you should vote for Main. The others, I’m still undecided. Many have their own agenda for the groups who support them and probably not in the best interest of the county as a whole.

Sanne warns solid waste layoffs will cost the county revenue and impact general fund

For more than 17 years the Solid Waste facility has been self funding, and while a budget is submitted every year, NO general fund monies have been needed to support the operation or it employees, that is until this layoff. For the first time since the facility was upgraded the county general fund will be responsible for covering the unemployment wages of the laid off workers.

Hopefully, the time of the P.I.M.P. is fading as people become aware of what has been going on while their attention was elsewhere. P.I.M.P.s, much like vampires, cannot survive in the glare of sunlight. Exposure shortens their life span and usefulness. P.I.M.P.s operate better in the dark (or executive sessions), where the cave people can get rid of them by shining bright light on their flitting about.
