The board will discuss the actions taken by commissioners Melissa Cribbins and John Sweet during a May 6, 2014 work session regarding the SCCF. According to the agenda item coversheet for today’s meeting-
Therefore, the Board may now discuss the following actions previously taken on May 2, 2014:
• Consenting to being a member of SCCF
• Approving the SCCF bylaws as previously approved by the Community Enhancement Plan Work Group
• Appointing the County’s member of the board of directors for SCCF
The other action taken on May 2, 2014, namely the ratification of John Whitty, Bill Lansing, and Joanne Verger as members of the board of directors of SCCF, is no longer necessary in light of those board members’ subsequent
resignation. However, one additional item also requires Board action:
• Deciding whether to appoint a proxy for Member meetings and, if so, who to appoint
Bob Main requested the matter be taken off the consent calendar for ratification and placed on the regular agenda for discussion because he was not in attendance during the May work session. The board is instructed to discuss the matter then take any action as deemed appropriate.
