Whistleblowers and the economy of esteem (via The Economist)
EDWARD SNOWDEN, the erstwhile IT guy who worked for the National Security Agency (NSA) and is responsible for the Powerpoint heard ’round the world, is ___________. (a) a hero (b) a narcissist (c) a traitor (d) courageous (e) all of the above The contest to answer this question has already grown tiresome…
I changed e-mail address because dish network no longer supported e-mails. We got one month notice. I chose http://www.lavabit.com which had encrypted emails. This was before Mr. Snowden informed us of government spying. Yesterday lavabit was stopped by the Federal Government. I no longer have e-mail access unless I sign up for one the NSA can spy on, If they can’t spy on you, you can’t have it. If you go to http://www.lavabit.com you will see the letter to fellow users.
