The Coquille Tribe has contributed a total of $2,500 directly to Melissa Cribbins, candidate for commission position three. Cribbins, an attorney working for the tribe, is also the recipient of $1,000 the political action committee, Coos County Alliance for Progress which also received $1,000 of tribal funds. Cribbins is running against Don Gurney.
The campaign season is stepping into gear again for the November election with all candidates except Tim Bishop showing increased activity. Bishop, running for position two against John Sweet, hasn’t logged any expenses or contributions since last June.

There was a two car caravan placing Cribbins signs around the Cape Arago Highway area yesterday. No other signs yet. Robinson should open a subsidiary magnetic car sign business.
