Now, Krieger along with two other former Oregon state troopers turned lawmakers want to “cut the amount of medical marijuana patients and growers can have on hand, give police greater access to confidential lists of cardholders, and make it harder for minors to use the drug”.
Rep. Andy Olson, R-Albany and Rep. Jeff Barker, D-Aloha and Krieger must now go up against medical marijuana advocates and the 38,000 Oregonians hold medical marijuana patient cards. For someone who claims government is already too big Krieger likes to attempt legislation that only makes it bigger. Again, this is more about using State troopers as revenue collectors than as public safety servants.
