Coos County Commissioner Kevin Stufflebean is still making the same excuses for filing bankruptcy including blaming the recall effort. Despite being busted on this blog and later in The World for claiming expenses of the recall never declared to OreSTAR as contributing to his financial woes and other unverifiable claims, Stufflebean keeps spinning the same story at a recent forum broadcast via radio. Perhaps he feels repeating makes it true. In my opinion, it just makes Stufflebean, shall we say, too liberal with the truth to be trusted with public resources.
A look at his campaign donations makes you wonder why his contributors would back someone caught in such exaggerations but then maybe they are just cut from the same cloth.
There seems to be some real evidence for what you suggest, although I am not a psychologist. One thing is for sure, piecing together the various video and audio segments of his various tales from this meeting to that meeting should be pretty revealing to the public.
Also, have you looked at Whitty’s contributors? One has to ask what they see in her, including Mike Keiser. Hard to imagine Keiser would hire her to run his business but he is helping to re-elect her to run county business.
I believe he’s really a pathological liar. He seems to think that if he says something is true it is true. Mr. Stufflebean needs to get out of the ozone and fact his personal lack of accountability instead of telling lies about his wife losing her job (she was moved to another position paying the exact same amount of pay and hours – since then she actually earns MORE from also working at the City Pool) and blaming the Recall campaign for his own shortcomings. I believe his supporters are either extremely blind, naive or corrupt. I think the later seems to be true of his “contributors”. They must be getting “something” for their efforts! His wife seems like a perfectly decent human being. I wonder how she ended up with him?
