Tentatively set that is for June 29 and 30. Now that the ALJ has accepted the Unfair Labor Practice complaint claims filed on behalf of road workers laid off last New Year’s Eve the complaint will be formally served upon the County and a formal response must be filed within 14 days.
If the Union prevails restoration may include reinstate of jobs and reimbursement of lost wages which may or may not take into account unemployment benefits already paid. Either way, the County is paying hundreds of thousands in unemployment benefits right now for no services rendered.
