There is quite a bit to relate regarding the layoff of the county road workers and what I regard as the mishandling of the department by current management. Being careful to note that I am by no means knowledgeable about road maintenance I am still stunned at the amazing lack of in depth analysis regarding the ‘reorganization of the road department’.
Today was spent on other matters but will devote tomorrow to chronicling the information I have been gathering over the last few days. Am also writing a followup article for next week’s Sentinel but will be publishing some details here over the weekend.
